Who Can Test Lifting Equipment
A Competent person shall be suitably trained, qualified by knowledge and practical experience sufficient to enable that person to detect and evaluate defects and weaknesses that may affect the intended performance of the equipment. They must demonstrate the ability to carry out work outlined in the Australian Standards for the specific Lifting Equipment to be tested and tagged.
