Fixed Base and demountable davit system.

The 610mm Fixed Davit (confined space equipment) is an adjustable davit system developed to allow workers greater versatility, with the mast adapter permanently fixed to a structure and the davit arm and mast moved around as required.

Ensuring easy and safe access into a wide variety of confined spaces these davits are easily positioned with reaches to 610mm. The davit’s versatility offers a solution where other conventional systems are impractical. With a safety factor of 10:1 and a working load limit of 164kg at any extension the davits meet or exceeds AS5532, CSA, ANSI, OSHA, CSST and CE Standards.

RECOVERY INTERTIA REELS

This SpanSet® Saverline series are fall arrest devices with a recovery mechanism. Should the user fall and need recovering, the winding handle can be used by
a third party to rescue them quickly and safely. The unit is completely closed and has no wearing parts. All parts are made from stainless steel or aluminium
and the lifelines have an aluminium double action hook with load indicator. Different steel cable lengths ensure that a suitable device is available for every
application. All devices comply with AS/NZS 1891.3.

PERSONAL & MATERIAL WINCHES

The SpanSet® Winch Model SVLWB is designed for lifting and lowering materials and small equipment, in a wide variety of workplaces. It is part of the
SpanSet® confined space, fall protection and rescue equipment range.
The SVLWB Winch quickly and easily attaches to our Tripods and Davits, via a heavy-duty mounting bracket equipped with 2 Quick-Release locking pins. The
winch is equipped with a locking swivel double action snap hook which is swagged to the 3/16” diameter wire rope (rope is standard in galvanised steel and
can be supplied in stainless steel for added corrosion protection).
The winch is also rated for lifting or lowering personnel, however when lifting personnel, it is essential that a secondary means of fall protection is also used
(i.e. SpanSet Fall Arrest Block).
